This course is an introduction to duplicate bridge procedures and
bidding techniques.  Depending on the experience level of the
students in the class, the first two (2) lessons may explain the use of
duplicate boards, the concepts of Mitchell and Howell movements,
duplicate scoring, the use of the convention card, role of the director,
and basic ethical considerations.  The remaining lessons will
constitute a review of basic Standard American bidding and introduce
commonly used bidding conventions.  A basic knowledge of bridge is
required for this course, but no duplicate bridge experience is
required.  Completion of the Club and Diamond Series or equivalent
courses is recommended but not required.  This is a two-part course,
each part consisting of eight (8), forty-five (45) minute lessons.

Cost:  $40 per part, plus optional materials ($15 for 1 part of course,
    $20 for both parts).
