- If a client cancels individual sessions with less than the amount of notice discussed below, the client
shall be liable for the full cost of the session, plus any non-recoverable travel expenses incurred.
Upon a cancellation, Michael will endeavor to find another client to replace the original client. If
Michael is able to find another client to fill some or all the sessions cancelled by the original client, the
original client will only be liable for the difference between the amount the original client was to have
paid and the amount collected from the second client.
Club sessions may be cancelled 1 week in advance with no cancellation fee. Otherwise the full cost of
the session will be due unless the cancellation is the result of illness or significant personal
emergency. If the session is cancelled as a result of illness or other significant personal emergency,
Michael, in his discretion, may waive the cancellation fee in whole or in part.
Tournament sessions may be cancelled 3 months in advance with no cancellation fee. Otherwise, the
full cost of the scheduled sessions will be due, as well as travel costs for which Michael is obligated
and cannot otherwise be reimbursed (e.g., Michael is to travel to a tournament and play part of the
tournament with the client and part of the tournament with someone else - the client would have been
responsible for only a portion of the transportation costs and for hotel costs related to the sessions
the client was to play with Michael. Upon cancellation with insufficient notice, if Michael still goes to the
tournament, the client cancelling the sessions is responsible for the costs incurred, as well as the
playing fee.). Again, Michael will make reasonable attempts to find a client to replace the person
cancelling the sessions and minimize the cost to the client cancelling the session.
