Small groups are usually groups of 4 to 8 people where we meet in someone's home. Any level of bridge may be taught, from beginning bridge, such as the ACBL Club Series, through advanced topics for experienced duplicate players. Most sessions run from 1 to 2 hours. The fee for such classes are $12 per person, with a $50 minimum. Materials, such as textbooks and handouts are extra. There are no cancellation fees for rescheduling or cancelling these lessons.
duplicate bridge sessions at the club and tournament levels. Prior to the session, Michael will meet with the client to discuss the bidding system to be used, as well as other relevant issues. During the session, Michael may point out issues which need immediate attention. Following the session, Michael will spend anywhere from 15 to 60 minutes, as appropriate, analyzing the hands with the student/client. Sessions may also consist of Michael kibbutzing/observing one or both members of a partnership during a duplicate session. Fees for kibbutzing sessions are the same for playing lessons. In addition to the playing/lesson fee, the student/client must pay for expenses, including the entry fee, travel costs (if the event is outside the Orlando area), and hotel expenses, where appropriate. There may also be a bonus due for masterpoints won. For more details on these expenses, contact Michael directly. There is no cancellation fee for cancelling individual sessions if done sufficiently in advance. Individual sessions cancelled without sufficient advance notice are subject to cancellation fees.
